Have you noticed that I far fewer blog entries than my brother? I totally noticed. What the heck parental units?!?! I know that I am not as exciting as he is, but I am stuck in this lump-of-flesh stage. It's not my fault - it is the limitations of the time-space continuum. I am trying grow as fast as I can. I already rolled over once (beat that, other 6-week old babies!). I even hit the 10-pound mark yesterday. And, whew, that took a lot of effort. Lots of eat, sleeping , and pooping.
Don't you worry, I'm scheming . 10-pound lump of flesh today, annoying little sister tomorrow!

Despite my young life of one month, I am already a pretty popular girl! I've made so many new friends:
Here is Auntie Kitt & Mayanna sitting with Mom & me watching my brother & Mirabelle 'playing' Guitar Hero:Mayanna is a cool baby. She is a two months older than me and with her age comes experience. I will be a good student and learn the ways of the world from her! Here she is explaining to me the mortgage crisis and how it is affecting the dollar on the world market. Or, she just has a poopie diaper. Meh, it is all the same thing.

Here is a pic of me & Gillie hanging out. Gillie is awesome! She is a week older than me, so we have a lot in common. For example, our mommies dress us in pink and make us pose for silly pictures.
After meeting all these new friends, I spent the day reflecting on my new found friendships.
Or drooling. Meh, it's the same thing.

Now that I'm out of the womb I've got to get in shape. I'm starting with a strict regimen of 'head-ups'. One... two... three...Whew! That really makes my face red.

Nana gave me my post-exercise rubdown. Thanks Nana!Then it was into my first bath.Granddad demonstrated how to summon the perfect lighting for a photograph:So much to learn. And phew, am I tired! Living is exhausting.

Things have been pretty chill here at the hospital. I am learning how to eat between naps. Martha stopped by, but she wouldn't teach me how to eat between naps. Boo.
The Smiths showed up to welcome me into the world. I ignored them. Sorry, guys! I'll be less comatose next time.

I've finally escaped! I punched at Mom's uterus hard enough to get her to go to the hospital and have me cut out.My birth was originally supposed to be at 5pm, but I decided that this was too late in the afternoon. I made Mom & Dad rush to the hospital at 2 in the morning for a 4 AM C-section. It was only 13 hours early, but hey, I really had to go and there was no bathroom in there. Once out, I pooped 6 times in the first hour! Man, that felt good.

Here are my stats:
born on February 12th at 4:05AM
7Lbs 10 Ozs
20 Inches

After much discussion the parents finally gave me a name: Mia Dare Boissicat Randall. Dad picked out Mia. Mom was holding out for Annalise or Emmaline. She is totally into the early 1900's/ romantic novel names. But, after having to be wheeled into the hospital at 2 in the morning and experiencing labor for several hours, she didn't have any energy left to argue. Dad won. GO DAD!!!

My grandparents are in town to welcome me into the world and to watch over my big brother Danger. They will be putty in my hands. So will Mom, she looks like a pushover.I still need to win over Dad. I don't think he's happy to see me, he almost fainted as soon as he saw me.

I hear my brother is planning on taking over the world. That sounds like a fun gig, maybe I'll join in!

30 Day Notice

Hi! My name is Dare.
I have been baking in my Mom's belly for the past 35 weeks. So far there is not much to talk about - it's pretty boring in here. And if you are claustrophobic, I wouldn't recommend it. Mom gave me a 30 day eviction notice yesterday. I'll be partying it up for the next few weeks till then. I'll see you all on February 12th!
